Am I able to get health fund rebates?

We are registered with most private health funds allowing you to receive a rebate for naturopathic services if you have the appropriate level of care.

Please check with your individual provider for more details about your eligibility.

Can I see a naturopath and doctor at the same time?

Yes! Naturopathic treatment can greatly compliment orthodox medicine. Integrating the two can truly enhance your total quality of life and help you to acheive the best possible health. Sara has worked with many doctors and combines natural therapies to enhance her client outcomes.

How do I find you?

We are located in Sydney, please email us for our exact location. Upon making your appointment we will also send you our address and clinic location.

How long will it take for me to feel well?

This is a difficult question to answer, as treatment results vary depending on the individual and their presenting complaints. As a general rule, the longer you have been experiencing your complaint for, the longer you will require treatment which can take up to one month of treatment for every year an adult body has been out of balance.

However most of our clients will start to notice improvements in their symptoms at the 2- 4 week mark of commencing their treatment plan.

How much will it cost?

The cost to see a naturopath will be made up of the:

  • Consultation price and
  • Personalised supplements price (which may consist of herbal medicines and nutrients).

Depending on your condition, the cost of your supplements will vary as it is prescribed according to your unique presentation.

Please don’t hesitate to speak to Sara during your consultation if you require a price list to help you budget. Sara will always recommend what she determines is the best course of action for each individual client and may also send you for further testing if it is necessary.

How often will I need to see you?

Generally after the first consultation we schedule in a follow up consult 2 weeks after your initial appointment. This is to monitor and check your progress on your treatment plan and from there follow ups will vary.

As it is entirely dependent on your presenting complaints, the more complex your condition – the more continual support you may require as we work through your treatment. This will be discussed in your initial appointment as we customise our treatment to you and aim to give you the highest level of care.

For pregnancy clients, follow up consultations are scheduled in at each mile stone mark of your pregnancy to ensure we are giving you the right nutrients/treatment for your needs as your body is changing. Please see the Natural Fertility page for more details.

I can’t make it down to pick up my supplements, do you offer postage?

Yes we do! We are happy to post your supplements to you if you can’t make it in. Postage is $10.45 per order.

You may also be interested in our virtual dispensary where you can order directly from our distributor (once we put your prescription aurthorisation through the system) and have it sent straight to your address. How easy is that?!

I can’t make it down to see you, do you offer any other types of appointments?

Yes, Sara offers phone and online Skype consultations for those who are unable to make the trip down to see her. Ideally a face to face consultation is best however we understand that you are busy and that it is not always possible to travel to see us so we will do our best to cater to you.

Online consultations are great for those who just ‘can’t find the time’, so we’ve made it easy for you to organise an appointment whether it is after work hours or for those who would like to see us during their lunch break (and can’t leave their desk).

Phone appointments however, are only available for follow up consultations.

I have run out of my supplements. How can I replenish them?

You do not need an appointment to replenish your supplements and can be easily done by contacting us via email.

We find that it is best to send us an email when your supplements are running low so that we may order your supplements and have them ready for you without you missing a day.

What are your Office hours?

Online booking is only available for:

Thursday: 9am – 7pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm

Consults outside these hours may also be arranged depending on Sara’s schedule so please email for availability.

What are your rates?

Please see the Fees & Packages page for specific information.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

No problems, we understand that circumstances can arise requiring you to reschedule your appointment.
We have a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy, so please contact us within this time to avoid being charged the full cost of your consultation and so that someone else may also benefit from our services.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept: Cash, Bank deposit, Paypal, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard.

Why can it take so long?

We are working with the body’s natural healing abilities and it takes time for changes in our diet and lifestyle to be reflected in newly generated cells. So when we look at red blood cells, their turnover is every 4 weeks, skin cells are every 6 weeks and some digestive cells take 5 days.

It is important to remember that the healing process takes time. In order to bring you to a greater level of health we aim to treat the underlying cause and not just simply alleviating your symptoms.
